Terms of Service

A private place to read a story, write down what your family would need to know, and keep personal reflections. It is a preparation and organization tool.

It is not legal, medical, financial, or tax advice, and it is not a law firm. Nothing you write here is a will, a trust, an advance directive, a power of attorney, or any other legally operative document, and nothing here is witnessed, notarized, or filed anywhere. Use it to prepare for those conversations and documents — then have the real documents prepared and executed properly where you live.

Access is by invitation. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, use the app only for lawful purposes, and do not attempt to reach another person's account or data. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You own what you write. You grant us only the permission needed to store, display, and back it up so the app can work for you.

You may create an access link that lets someone view part of your plan without signing in. If you do, you agree to the following.

• You create the access; we do not. Sharing happens only when you generate a link. We do not release your information on your behalf, and there is no automatic release on death, illness, or inactivity.
• A link is a bearer key. Whoever holds it can open the shared view. There is no password and no verification of who is reading. You are responsible for how and to whom you send it, and for what happens if it is forwarded, intercepted, or found.
• You choose what is included. The shared view contains only Hub answers marked visible to contacts and journal entries marked to pass on. Review those markings before sharing a link.
• Revocation is forward-looking only. Turning a link off or letting it expire prevents future viewing. It cannot retrieve or erase what someone already read, copied, screenshotted, or told someone else.
• A link confers no authority. Being named a trusted contact, or holding a link, gives that person no legal power over you, your care, your estate, or your property. Only documents executed under your local law do that.
• Third-party details are your responsibility. If you record a contact's name or contact details, you confirm you may do so, and you agree to tell them they are listed and what they may eventually be able to see.

If you are the person who received a link: the view is read-only and provided for your reference. Please treat what you read as private to the person who shared it, and do not share the link onward.

We work to keep the app available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and this app should not be the only place your family can find critical information. Export your plan from Settings periodically, and tell someone you trust where the paper copies and original documents actually are.

You can delete your account from Settings at any time; deletion is permanent and immediately disables any active access links. We may suspend access for misuse of the service or for attempts to reach data that is not yours.

The service is provided as it is, without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for decisions made based on information stored here, or for disclosure that results from an access link you created and shared.
